These are medieval times so there are no cars, planes, fast food restaurants and such conveniences.
Do NOT use any of the other people's characters unless it is totally necessary or you know exactly how that character would react. If you write someone else's actions, leave them room to get out of the situation if they don't want to go with your plot.
Make your posts as detailed as you can. Meaning: define your character, include bits and pieces from your past, explain why you do things. Always explain what you're trying to do. You know what you're up to but the others don't.
Watch your language. In medieval times no one said "cool" or "that rocks" and so on..
If you're not sure about something, ask someone. Email the mods(or admins).
Don't make any weird changes to your characters personality. Someone really sweet doesn't just go to psycho from one second to the next unless something really dramatic happens. If so, write that happenstance out so everyone understands.
Stay close to your characters biography. You can't just change where your char. came from, heritage..and so on.
If you want your character to have a special talent and it is not on the list, email us first, we need to approve it. Every character can only have one talent. And no two characters can have the same talent.
Do NOT, under any circumstances, kill someone else's character!! That includes mortal wounds. If the person wants you to kill that character, they will tell you.
No character is perfect, invincible, immortal. Your character can't know everything, solve everything, win everything. Your character might be the best at one thing, but not at everything. If your character is very good at one or two things (or more) there should be something where you're only average or poor at.
Remember that your character feels, thinks, talks, etc. That's what makes the characters individual. So add these to your posts a lot. It helps to set these apart: Put thoughts in italics and your dialogue in quotes("). Also: Talk in 3rd person (she went to the kitchen. not: I went to the kitchen)
Whatever happens in the story is not to be taken personal. So, just because one character doesn't like yours doesn't mean that person doesn't like you.
Animals and plants are like in England/Scotland. So there are no lions, giraffes or palmtrees.
This is supposed to be the "real" world, so except dragons and pixies there are no monsters, creatures or any other such things.
If you find a magic item, don't start to use it right away. Remember that there is no one left who knows how to use them.

Keep in mind: if you're not sure about something, it is better to ask.
If you break a rule (rules) you will be warned to change your post,
otherwise we will edit/delete your post.
